This friendship cake recipe was given to my mother by a friend of hers when I was a child, she then passed it on to me. I have made it into a gluten-free recipe. This friendship cake recipe takes over 2 months from start to finish to create. This moist and delicious cake is well worth the wait. Lucky for you the starter is already made! We get a lot of requests for it to be made around the holidays, weddings, and other special occasions.
